Corrupt Judiciary Would Be Death Of Democracy
Yesterday a reported published in hindustan times rocked the nation. Punjab vigilance has unearthed a shocking nexus between organized crime and judiciary. The report has been submitted to chief justice of India and Prime Minister.
Punjab police had taped phones of two individuals in un related case. They monitored the conversation for three months and what got caught was some thing bigger. These two individuals were in touch with two judges and were influencing transfer of cases , the judgments .
The report is shocking and corrupt judiciary would be death of Indian Democracy. Police , politicians and judiciary are three basic pillar of democracy. While police is responsible for law and order , politicians (administration) responsible for governance , the judiciary is responsible for giving justice.
We all know how clean and clear are our politicians and police force . The last hope has always been judiciary. We have always been sure about getting justice . It may get delayed but justice happens.
Now this case has ignited the worst fears among intellectuals of India. Our law minister has said that he would take this inquiry to logical conclusion but its not matter of two judges . Who knows how deep and far this ill has spread in the system.
I request chief justice of India to take matter in his own hands and make sure the system remains clean.
